Outreach

One of the main reasons we exist as a church is to reach out to our community with a message of hope and life. In one sense, everything we do has an outreach component. In all that we do--worship, education, fellowship, discipleship--we want to think, speak, and act in such a manner that Christianity is commended to those who don't yet believe.

But we also believe it's important that we make specific and consistent efforts to engage the surrounding culture, build relationships with others, and communicate the practical relevance of the gospel. Our outreach team implements and oversees these initiatives. Our challenge is to discover, amid all the possible ways we could make a difference in a community as diverse as Providence, what are the ways in which we can be most effective, most faithful to what God has entrusted to us.

To all who are spiritually weak and seek rest; to all who mourn and long for comfort; to all who struggle and desire victory; to all who are strangers and want fellowship; to all who hunger and thirst after righteousness; and to whomsoever will come, this Church opens wide her doors and offers welcome in the name of the Lord Jesus.
